We've had a small bird roosting on the back porch for several months. Don't know exactly how long, I first spotted him in March. He usually comes in for the night about 8:50 to 9:00. Tonight he came in to roost about 8:15. About 5 minutes before it started pouring rain and thundering. Birds are smarter than Joe Biden.
