Forky, you've been out in the heat too long if you've slipped so far as to think that First John is Jesus's words.

Maybe that is more of your "Doublethink", after admonishing me to read Matthew, Mark, Luke and John you try to throw a little 1st John in there. You slithery little Serpent. Your cute when you hiss and twist.

Obviously John was referring to Jesus's commanents and not the "Ten Commandments."

Come in out of the sun. Get a cold drink (I recommend water) and calm down.

1 John 3
King James Version
3 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.

6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.

7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

50 And I know that his commandment is life everlasting

1 John 2
King James Version
2 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.

4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.

Forky, it comes down to the fact that neither your accusations nor your proclamations stand the test of Jesus's words. If you could you would post and repost the Book(s), Chapter(s) and Verse(s) that support your delusions. Instead, you resort to slithering and hissing, impotently striking out and posting lies.

Jesus never taught the Ten Commandments. Jesus is never recorded as repeating "Keep the Sabbath." The "Rich Man" did not get eternal life despite keeping all the commandments.

More lies, slithering and hissing from Forky the Clown Serpent.

It comes down to who and what you believe. Do you believe in the teaching of Jesus or whatever religion teaches. Jesus explain how we are to be judged. So it's either stand firm in Jesus or stand up for religion. I believe in what Jesus taught over religion. John 12:46-50. How many ways did Jesus say they were to get back to the Father? One, that's through Jesus so what religion teaches doesn't matter.

49 For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.

50 And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.

You might want to open your eyes to what Jesus taught. Jesus teaches we are to live by the words that preceded out of the mouth of God. Not what man teaches. Those WORDS are the Laws of God. The ten commandments. You try your up most to obey laws of man but refuse to obey the Laws of God. Rich man asking Jesus what must I do to receive ETERNAL LIFE. You know the Commandments was the reply. They CAN'T be divided. Break One break them all.

Forky, I've read all of those but I still can't find where Jesus said to "Keep the Ten Commandments" or "Jesus said to Keep the Sabbath."

Help me out and tell me where I can find 'em. After all, you are the one what posted they was in there.

You want the TRUTH. Read Matthew Mark Luke and John. Enough SAID.

Forky, weren't it Jesus who said that there was more He wanted to tell the disciples but didn't have time? (John 16:12) And weren't it Jesus who said that He'd guide them to the truth? (John 16:13) Weren't it Jesus who said the Spirit would bring Him glory by telling the Disciples what Jesus wanted them told? (John 16: 14) And weren't it Jesus who said that the Spirit would only tell them stuff that Jesus told the Spirit to tell them? (John 16:15.)

Are those "whoppers?"

Give an example of part of the New Testament that Christians want to hide? Book, Chapter and Verse if you don't mind. I can't help but notice that Books, Chapters and Verses have been pretty sparse when you've been typing. I figure it's cause you can't find any Book, Chapter or verse that backs up anything you say.

Christians don't want people to learn TRUTH from the New Testament. That's why Christianity don't want people to hear TRUTH.

Forky, Forky, Forky, first it isn't me who added to Jesus's teaching, it was Him. In John 16:15 Jesus told His disciples that He'd be telling the Holy Spirit what to say. Notice Jesus didn't speak about the past, it tweren't "The Holy Spirit will repeat what y'all done ready heard" it was future tense

Oh boy do you tell some whopper. Nothing is to be added to the teaching of Jesus or subtracting from his word. If you do need more advice we are to learn from the Holy Spirit.
Now tell everyone what the Holy Spirit is?

In another instance Jesus something I feel like fits here. In the midst of your doubting and denying take some courage from "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." (Matthew 19:26 NLT)

If Christianity is Satanic why do you reckon you can't find any examples of anything Christians do that is contrary to Christ's commandments? After all, it is the Forksters who follow commandments what don't come from Jesus.

How can you add the the New Testament that Jesus made to mankind after he died? There was the Old testament and now Jesus. Christ the Lord God with the New Testament. The New covenant . His WORDS are all that matters for eternal Life. Man religion is satans.

Forky! You old shyster, are you in here lying again?

First of all you know the rules--Book, Chapter and Verse where Jesus "declared his teaching finished." Surely you aint going to claim that His declaration on the cross of "It is finished" (John 19:30) meant that folks didn't have more to learn are ya? After all, just a little bit before that, in John 16:12-13 Jesus said there was more to learn than He had time to tell and He was going to leave it up to the Spirit to tell it.

I was wondering if you've found an example of the Christian Church going against what Jesus actually said? Last week you was sweating over it like a fat man at a 4th of July Barbecue but hadn't come up with anything. Have any luck this week?

I appreciate you posting what doublethink is. For an example is that like saying that Jesus aint done until He returns (which you posted at 9:54am on June 19) but He declared everything was finished (which you posted today)?

Oh, and Forky, have a merry Sabbath though Jesus never said to had to keep it.

Why cant you leave it at that. Every one has a choice to make an certainly dont need any coaching from you or me.Just tell them the good news an let them decide what they want to do with there life.

People have the right to decide but they should also hear Truth that Jesus is the only way to the Father and religion is based on lies half-truths fables traditions and false interpretation. Jesus declared his teaching Finished so Christianity is of Satan.

doublethink

mhj, you ever heard the song choices. Sing it an then make a choice to leave people to decide for themselves what they want as far as their faith. Thats probably to simple for you to understand
&&&

That's what I Said CHOICES. You either follow the truth that Jesus taught or you follow the World. Jesus Way leads to eternal life while if you choose the world the Lake of Fire. You make that conscious decision as to life or death. No need for religion when Jesus Is THE WAY.

Was it an example of you "following Jesus" that led you to post a false statement, attribute it to Jesus then accuse the Christian Church of committing a sin when it was unfounded?

I know that I have not been the most faithful acolyte, but I do not remember those being Christlike qualities.
